What
makes Mexican Vanilla better?
Taste is a difficult thing to describe over the Internet
but we can promise that you'll be amazed! Global Goods works
endlessly to make sure our Mexican Vanilla comes from the
purest Vanilla Orchids in the region. It's a difficult task
to grow, cultivate and to produce our Mexican Vanilla in
the old family style, but we have found it is worth it!
Most of the products sold throughout the United States are
chemical derrivitives of the vanilla scent. Global Goods
Inc does NOT use any foreign chemicals in our our Mexican
Vanilla.
Global
Goods' Mexican Vanilla consists of Vanilla Beans, water,
alcohol (4%) and the scrapings of the crystals (scent) in
the pods called Vanillin (2%). The only Vanilla more pure
than this is the actual Vanilla Bean. Since the beans don't
last long after being harvested, we no longer sell them.
We love the taste of Vanilla so much, we do our best to
limit the amount of alcohol used in the product. That's
another reason you'll love our Mexican Vanilla for all of
your baking needs! Check out the Diagram below to see how
our Mexican Vanilla is processed.

We only
know of 3 manufacturers of Mexican Vanilla that have been
approved to be sold here in the United States. If you are
buying Mexican Vanilla and they can't provide you with their
FDA number, that should be cause for hesitation.
Why
is Mexican Vanilla more expensive?
Vanilla orchids are a tough flower to manage. Each flower
must be hand pollinated in order to get the vanilla beans
to grow. You can imagine the time and effort involved. Luckily
we bring the Vanilla Extract into the U.S. by the truck
loads to bring our international shipping costs down.
